To make a booking on mechanical engineering equipment and instruments

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the link to access the booking system: TimeEdit University of Canterbury

  2. Select the Public, Student or Staff entrance depending on your status. The staff member arranging your account will have communicated which entry point to use.

  3. Log on to TimeEdit using University of Canterbury's SSO (Single Sign-On).

If you are requested to select an organisation:

There is a bug in the Single Sign-On forwarding that may request you to choose an organisation. Click the back button on the browser, refresh and choose the correct entry point and then you should be redirected to the the correct Single Sign-On link.

For external users without UC-SSO capability, select the Authenticate with TimeEdit option.

  4. Account activation for UC SSO

You are required to log in once to activate your log in information prior to being able to add permissions to an account. If this is your first time logging in, let the staff member know so they can then add the lab access for you. If you require additional or new permissions, please contact Oscar Torres or Shaun Mucalo.

Choose the lab in which you wish to book a piece of equipment. Currently the options are:

    1. Mechanical Engineering Materials Testing and Heat Treatment Equipment

    2. Mechanical Engineering Microscopy Wing Equipment

    3. Mechanical Engineering Thermomechanical Analysis Equipment

  5. If there are no calendars visible
