Introduction

On true multi users system like linux our friendly RCC staff will do the work to activate any new storage added. This is because we can seamlessly login on the system at any time to perform the operation. Windows desktop system, on the other hand, only allow a single person to be logged in graphically at any one time. Which means that login in the system to perform the operation may result in the user's session to be suspended or terminated. So, instead, we recommend the end user to perform the operation themselves.

Some remote management tools could be deployed to RCC windows machines to do the task in the future but we currently do not have the capability or know how.
