Jason/James/Joel/Jonney (or J*)
Aims
- Interrogate scenario IM plots - Jason
- Zhao16 and C20 into Empirical Engine OQ
- Generate VM perturbations for CS - Jason
- Refactor Triaging / Documentation - Jason
- Metadata refactor is high on the list
- Regress VM_gen / VM_pert CH estimation (Jonney)
- Merge Sung's Cybershake progress script (currently in dashboard repo) (Jonney)
Picked up after SP
- CFM Source Model
Highlights
Sigma looks reasonable for Simulation vs Empirical
Completed
- CS21.6 part 1 plots
- Added models to Empirical engine
- CS21.6 part 2 underway - ~100k CH used
- Plot SRF map / slipriserake debugged
Issues
- Waiting on Brendon's comments on CS Plots
- Some Emod jobs are reporting weirdly on slurm (the completing job is unsurprisingly failed)
Outstanding
- VM estimation for workflow
- CS Progress Script - waiting on PR comments
Initial Plan for next sprint - in priority order
- CFM - Segmented Source Model
- Regress VM_gen / VM_pert CH estimation (Jonney)
- Update IM_calc estimation when RotD is being calculated
- Extend IM_plot to do geom / rotd50 (if it is available) (Sung)
- Cleaning up Slurm GM Workflow repo - repository assessment like we did for visualisation - there are a few files that reference Kupe (Sung)
Other – Jason's list of FFA backlog tasks
- verify_VM now uses high-memory (generally more than VM_gen itself) - would be good to analyse this for the automatic workflow
- Add a step to the workflow for realisation summary script (will be a fault based step eventually) (and plotting)
- Fix Rrup and Empirical calculation in the automated workflow (Jason - Low Priority)
- Plan for empirical model refactor
- Add realisation name to generic slurms (and IM_calc)
- Bug with IM_calc slurm submission- "cat: /scale_wlg_nobackup/filesets/nobackup/nesi00213/RunFolder/Cybershake/v21p6/Runs/AhuririR/AhuririR_REL07/IM_calc/.csv: No such file or directory" - l54 in the slurm template
- NHM to df function
- add extra options to plot items to disable roads / highways and modify colour - extending topo white - basically the options to the basemap function.
Notes
- AG20 / K20 have different requirements for empirical inputs depending on regionalisation – need to figure out how to handle this in the short and medium term
