Aims

  • Start CS21.1

Highlights

New basins and VM perturbations part of Cybershake!

Completed

  • Defined the advancements / scope of Cybershake v21p1
  • Started running CSv21.1 on Kisti - 43 / 674 realisations completed - 81 EMOD3D realisations completed
  • Added 3 empirical models from OpenQuake to Empirical Engine

Issues

  • SRFinfo2VM being outside of automated workflow - lead to a lot of time spent generating VMs
  • Collingwood / Takaka basins not being represented in the VM - testing with regenerated VMs
  • Significant time to generate VM perturbations
    • Long term improvements:
      • we should add this to the automated workflow
      • dynamically choose depth segments based on VM size to reduce RAM requirement

Outstanding

  • Investigation of Collingwood / Takaka basins
  • VM perturbation generation

Initial Plan for next sprint

  • Continue running CS 21p1 (divert to new VMs if necessary) – Execution
  • Scenarios for empirical vertical IM – Execution
