Jason
Aims
- Start CS21.1
Highlights
New basins and VM perturbations part of Cybershake!
Completed
- Defined the advancements / scope of Cybershake v21p1
- Started running CSv21.1 on Kisti - 43 / 674 realisations completed - 81 EMOD3D realisations completed
- Added 3 empirical models from OpenQuake to Empirical Engine
Issues
- SRFinfo2VM being outside of automated workflow - lead to a lot of time spent generating VMs
- Collingwood / Takaka basins not being represented in the VM - testing with regenerated VMs
- Significant time to generate VM perturbations
- Long term improvements:
- we should add this to the automated workflow
- dynamically choose depth segments based on VM size to reduce RAM requirement
- Long term improvements:
Outstanding
- Investigation of Collingwood / Takaka basins
- VM perturbation generation
Initial Plan for next sprint
- Continue running CS 21p1 (divert to new VMs if necessary) – Execution
- Scenarios for empirical vertical IM – Execution
