First plots shows the relationship between nt and core hours. Second shows linear relationship between core hours and fd_count*nsub_stoch.
This plot was produced by binning the data along nsub and then estimating core hours for min/mid/max nt/fd_count in each bin and plotting the result .
This plot shows several functions fitted to the mean of the binned data, fits nsub_stoch & core_hours, ignores nt/fd_count
Partial means that only data with nsub_stoch < 750 was used to fit the function
