Welcome to the UC Library's Endnote Wiki. UC staff and students can log in to edit pages and add comments.
Use Your Account menu at the bottom of the page.

EndNote is software that enables you to store and manage references, and use these to format citations and bibliographies in documents, in many different styles.

The Library helps and supports students with this program by offering both courses and individual help. Contact  your Liaison Librarian.

EndNote X3 and X4 are both currently supported version on campus. Features of X4 are explained on the Endnote site.

Do you need to install Endnote on your own computer? If so, you can download the necessary files here. Once installed check for updates by opening Endnote and going to the Help menu. Choose EndNote Program Updates and use the Wizard to check for updates.

There is also a cut-down web based version available for use if that better suits your needs.

When Endnote installs on your computer, it also installs a substantial manual in PDF format. In Windows, going to Start, Programs, Endnote will let you find and open the manual.
