While an indirect way of registering for Endnote Web, it is the method recommended by the Endnote vendors as, to quote: When users register for an EndNote Web account within ISI Web of Knowledge, they will have greater access to institutional library resources than when they register through EndNote on the desktop.
Connect to Web of Knowledge.
Over half-way down the right hand navigation bar you will see a heading 'Customize Your Experience'. Click on the Register prompt.
This will enable you to register. The login you set-up will work for both Endnote Web and the Web of Knowledge (they are provided by the same organization).

If you do decide to register directly, you must be on campus as registration will fail otherwise (it is how Endnote checks you belong to an institution with a subscription to Endnote Web). Once registered your login will work anywhere.
