This wiki is open to all members of the University of Canterbury community and a new space can be requested by any staff member provided they are willing to follow some basic guidelines and protocols. They (or their delegate) will be able to manage who can view their wiki space and add pages etc. In particular, they are able to invite members of other university communities to share their space. This wiki is not unique. Other wikis exist on campus and they can continue to serve their communities as long as they wish.
The University of Canterbury ICT Services Helpdesk is ready to help users get their projects started on the Wiki - by creating a wiki space, adjusting the permissions, or just helping the users get going. The following page describes the tasks the Helpdesk can help with - particularly those where administrative access is needed.
