Following the February earthquake we had some inquiries about the access of the Blue Fern facilities from outside of the campus.
The good news is that accessing BlueFern from outside the campus has always been possible. The login nodes are visible from outside of the university network so that collaborators from outside the university can also access the facility. A side effect is that you also easily can access BlueFern from your own home.
Setting up your home computer to access BlueFern facilities is no different from setting up your campus computer to do the same thing. The instructions from the Getting started! guide as well as the more comprehensive user guide are as valid for your home computer as they are for your campus computer.
